Job Summary:
This Associate Attorney position will report directly to the Managing Partner of Evictions and the firm’s National Eviction Outsourcing Platform. The attorney will work alongside the evictions’ support staff and carry their own caseload across the States of Oregon and Washington. The ideal candidate is already licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington. If not already licensed in both, the candidate must have at least one year of active practice immediately preceding their application for this role. Experience with Plaintiff or Defense-Side eviction law, or other related experience representing landlords, tenants, creditors and/or loan servicers is a plus. Experience with jury trials is a significant plus.
In this position you will need to possess the willingness to work in a team as well as the ability to be self-driven and work independently whenever needed. You will need to proactively stay abreast of the laws, ordinances, and general legal landscape affecting landlord and tenants’ rights in the States of Oregon and Washington. The individual in this role must take ownership of their assignments and work product. Direct communication with clients is expected and required. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal office working conditions, remote work is possible. The noise level in the office work environment is quiet to moderate.
