Job Title: Junior Sales Representative – Fastening & Press Systems

Department: Fastening/Servo Systems 

DESCRIPTION: 

MC Fastening Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and hone skills in the manufacturing and assembly industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within their assigned region.  This will include but not limited to solutions around our current and expending product portfolio of handheld and fixture torquing tools (nut runners) and Servo press-fit systems. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Present and demonstrate our products to clients, highlighting their benefits and features
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and network with potential clients
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles is a plus
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in sales and the fastening and press systems industry

• Experience with inventory and ERP software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and within project teams
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Job operates mainly indoors, in an office setting, handling administrative tasks related to office management, supplies, and equipment.   This position will require the supporting activities throughout the United States and Canada with some interactions with suppliers in Japan.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this type of job.
