This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide comprehensive ENT care while working both independently and in close partnership with ENT surgeons.
Position Overview
This role is designed to provide a broad and well-rounded ENT experience. The Advanced Practice Provider will rotate between independently managed clinic visits and shared clinic days with an ENT surgeon, allowing for both autonomy and collaborative learning. Weekly schedules vary to accommodate clinical and surgical needs and are designed to support a diverse scope of patient care.
In addition to clinic responsibilities, this position includes operating room participation, contributing to procedural experience and continuity of care for surgical patients.
Call responsibilities are shared among the team and include two to four weekdays per month and every eighth weekend. Weekday call duties involve covering operating rooms that extend past 5 PM, managing inpatient consults, responding to emergency department evaluations, and addressing outpatient phone calls. Weekend call includes rounding on inpatients, seeing new consults from the hospital or emergency department, and managing outpatient phone triage.
The ideal candidate will be a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current or eligible state licensure. Previous experience in ENT or surgery is preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment, time management, and communication skills are essential. We are looking for someone who demonstrates careful attention to detail, is self-motivated, and eager to learn within a collaborative, team-based environment.
Joining our ENT department means becoming part of a supportive and innovative team that values professionalism, patient-centered care, and continuous learning. This role provides the opportunity to engage in a variety of clinical experiences while contributing meaningfully to patient outcomes.
