About this role

Develops and documents solutions related to institution's ongoing remodeling needs. Produces construction documents for projects, any of the following disciplines: including architectural, interiors, mechanical, and electrical drawings. Maintains and develops institutional Building and Campus Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) data bases and other institutional facilities data bases. Provides and maintains building and campus infrastructure system drawings for maintenance and design. Participates in developing and applying facilities standards. Serves as a resource or advisor to the institution on facilities issues as requested. Standards: Develop, modify, and update Reference Standards, design standards, and General Specifications under supervision of architects and engineers. CADD Software and Hardware, serves as a key technical resource in Section and Division initiatives involving the implementation of CADD, databases, and related technologies. Participates in the development and enhancement of CADD production tools. Serves as a technical resource to other Facilities groups as appropriate. Must be able to function independently and manage and organize large workload for timely completion of projects. Performs lead role in providing mentorship, quality control and direction.
