Job Title: Runner/Lumper FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Warehouse
Position Summary:
The Runner/Lumper is responsible for selecting products before being loaded onto the truck for delivery by performing the following duties.
The position of Runner/Lumper is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.
The Runner/Lumper shall be accountable and supervised by the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Offload inbound trucks when arriving at the warehouse dock.
- Sort and distribute palletized products for storage by using a pallet jack or forklift.
- Wrap boxes into pallets and stock them.
- Communicate with receivers for daily workload.
- Keep work area tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
- Comply with safety policy and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Pallet jack experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:
- Freezer, Cooler, and Dry sections of Warehouse.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift/push/carry items 50lbs. or more.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
