About this role

As directed by the Operations Manager / Molding Supervisor, responsible for the flow of raw materials and finished goods into and out of the production area.  Must also be fully familiar with all the packaging specifications and be able to perform all Operator duties. Must ensure that working conditions and work habits are conducted in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

  • To keep the production area supplied with resin, supplies, color and packaging materials.
  • Must be able to understand the operation of the Mould Tek Material Handling system and set up virgin, regrind, colour changes & requirements and other additives as needed.
  • To transfer finished goods to the storage area and maintain production entry sheets.
  • To assist in coffee & lunch break relief at machine.
  • Shop logics coding
  • Hot stamper and HTL role change.
  • All other duties as directed by the Supervisor / Manager
  • Safety
    • Responsible to bring forward with continuous improvement initiatives to improve orientating and retaining new employees.
    • Accountable to identify and bring forward to either Shift Supervisor and/or Operations Manager improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a licensed or be able to be a licensed qualified forklift operator.
  • Must be prepared to work in a cooperative environment.
  • Must be willing and physically able to fulfill the job requirement

Pay:

The range for this position is $20.48 – 34.64 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
