Job Details:

The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for operational performance (service, productivity and quality) and delivering day-to-day customer service to all associates and leaders by responding to incoming requests regarding HR, Payroll, Leave of Absence and company policy/procedures inquiries. Additionally, this position administers HR transactional activities and engages in continuous improvement of the team. This hybrid role will be based out of our BedQuarters location in Houston, with on-site presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remote flexibility on the remaining weekdays.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review and respond to HR related inquiries and resolve complex issues timely and consistently while providing exceptional customer service satisfaction; investigate and resolve issues independently where possible.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and guidelines providing recommendations and resolutions to associates and managers.
  • Determine and address any unstated needs and recognizes when further escalation of a situation is necessary.
  • Perform transactions related to one or more HR specialties with a high degree of accuracy and strict adherence to written procedures.
  • Conduct regular data audits and analysis to identify potential compliance and data integrity issues or opportunities to improve the data integrity of the system.
  • Follow Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows. Participate in and contribute to the proactive review and implementation of process improvements.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide biweekly, quarterly and daily reports to internal and external customers.
  • Reference company policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of response and offer all available information.
  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience required.

Professional Experience

  • 2+ Years Human Resources Experience required.
  • 2+ Years Benefits Administration Experience preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): High

Licenses and Certifications

  • SHRM,CP - SHRM Certified Professional preferred.
  • PHR - Professional in Human Resources preferred.

Compensation:

Competitive pay range $50,000 - $60,000 of per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

*Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
