Responsibilities

In addition, you will:

 

  • Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators, in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. 
  • Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure the quality of repairs and service. 
  • Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required. 
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports. 
  • Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines. 
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe and presentable manner. 
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned 

Qualifications

About You:

  • Safety is a part of your day to day
  • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
  • You are looking for long-term projects
  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
  • You have a High School Diploma, or equivalent. 
  • You have a valid driver’s license. 
  • You have knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics. 
  • Have knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures. 
  • Have the ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic), and basic wiring. 
  • You have basic diesel and drive train experience. 
  • Have the ability to use a cutting torch and basic welding skills. 
  • You have knowledge of minor heavy equipment repairs. 
  • You have good verbal communication skills. 
  • You have precise hand-eye coordination. 
  • You have clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. 
  • You are able to commute to our Eagle River, WI location Monday-Friday during business hours (typically 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm)

Compensation: $23.00-26.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
