Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full-Time Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building high-quality websites, enjoys problem-solving, and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to deployment
- Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements
- Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance and scalability
- Implement SEO best practices and improve site speed and performance
- Monitor website health, perform updates, backups, and security patches
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Document development processes and technical configurations
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience developing custom themes and plugins from scratch
- Solid understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and APIs
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Experience working with hosting environments, DNS, and SSL configurations
