Executive - Executive – Process & Maintenance (WTP)
Based at Thulhiriya
MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets
Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Fabric Park team as a Senior Executive - Plant Lean Enterprise. This role would enable you to ensure that all facilities align to lean principals through process audits and to implement new lean initiatives with the involvement of employees whilst, creating a problem-solving culture
Gather, analyze, and report weekly and monthly KPIs by coordinating with all Department Heads, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and availability of Factory and Department KPI reports, along with necessary feedback.
Monitor daily Kaizen progress by engaging relevant employees, tracking participation and completion timelines, and ensuring Kaizen targets are achieved effectively.
Develop, update, and maintain MOS procedures for internal and external audits, conduct pre-audits and MOS assessments, and ensure timely closure of audit feedback while adhering to MOS standards.
Manage all external MOS-related visits by facilitating knowledge sharing, implementing best Lean practices, and strengthening the MOS culture within the workplace.
Facilitate PDCA problem‑solving sessions with relevant teams and ensure timely completion and documentation of PDCA cycles.
Coordinate and arrange Lean manufacturing trainings (e.g., JFB), ensuring high participation, effective coordination, strong training quality, and continuous enhancement of Lean knowledge across employees.
Monitor and drive overall Lean progress within the department by encouraging employee involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the preparation of the plant’s annual Hoshin Kanri & Blueprint with accuracy and timeliness.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in Physical Science
- 4-5 years relevant experience in dye lab
- Good Communication and Leadership skills
