Senior Executive ‐ Engineering ‐ Operations

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to manage and maintain all the functional operations of engineering and maintenance (including electrical systems/ equipment), ensuring the continuance of production and organizational activities to meet business expectations whilst supporting autonomation initiatives at the plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend development meetings and provide technical input to finalize matters pertaining to machinery, sewing techniques, settings and attachments whilst continuously assessing the plant feasibility.
• Ensure to take preventive maintenance measures for non-sewing machinery in order to guarantee high quality product standards.
• Attend to machinery issues pertaining to production in order to ensure an uninterrupted production flow & Ensure to attend to all electrical maintenance requirements, water supply and general maintenance aspects of the factory in a timely and efficient manner.
• Oversee the operations of the Engineering team whilst coordinating with service providers for regular maintenance of machinery, equipment, electrical and furniture fittings and ensuring the adherence to safety standards thereby, facilitating the process of providing safe work conditions.
• Check production plan, assist in finalizing machine requirements together with negotiating better terms with suppliers thereby ensuring the availability of machinery prior to commencement of production operations.
• Seek new technology, obtain latest equipment and introduce high efficient/low-cost methods whilst supporting in the technical aspect of product development.
• Conduct training for mechanics on technical skills such as Electrical, Mechanical, new Technology, safety etc. in an accurate manner in order to enhance the level of skills.
• Ensure to overlook all maintenance aspects within the facility & relevant accommodation / hostels (where relevant) which include electricity, water supply, boiler, hot water supply and related maintenance issues in order to provide an uninterrupted service thereby providing a well-maintained, safe environment for all employees.

• Manage projects relating to MAS Operating System (MOS), layout planning, refurbishment, Plant expansion and other relevant projects.

   

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Engineering from a relevant institute.
• 2 ‐3 years of experience in field of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering in production environment.
• Knowledge of Compliance standards/ Sustainability Initiatives.
