Merchandiser - Development

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual for effective handling of customers and transfer of orders to purchasing and manufacturing units in order to meet business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and facilitate the sample development process while ensuring customer T&A is met. Set sourcing strategy.
Initiate sourcing of raw materials (which are not nominated by customer) with respective departments.
Follow up with suppliers and customer to ensure raw materials are approved to proceed the bulk in line with customer timelines and requirements.
Accurate communication with procurement team (CPU) to proceed bulk purchasing.
Accurate price maintenance in SAP for FGs and all raw materials.
Coordination with internal departments (ex: Costing, PDC, CPU, PCU, Sourcing, admin) to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
Having a proper track on changes that happen throughout a given development cycle and communicate the same with respective internal departments to ensure bulk production is carried out as per latest customer modification.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in Marketing with 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar capacity
SAP Knowledge will be an added advantage
Excellent communication skills and Negotiation skills
Sound knowledge about the Apparel Development/Production Processes.
