Deputy General Manager - Business Development
(Based at MAS Fabric – Matrix - Thulhiriya)
MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to Manage and oversee the development function of the Strategic Brands + NIKE business division by researching, identifying, and attracting potential customers whilst, effectively managing existing customer/ product portfolios and ensuring optimum fulfilment of plant capacity thereby, fulfilling both customer and organizational requirements.
This role also involves giving leadership to Design, Fabric Library, and Research and Innovation teams of Matrix to support the above given objectives and in ensuring profitability of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate the overall business strategy of the SBU, acquire new customers or opportunities within the existing customers, provide direction for future plans, oversee the implementation to ensure continued success of the business whilst, facilitating the achievement of overall objectives.
Develop & strengthen relationships with customers whilst creating a value stream connects across the organization thereby, enabling the delivery of customer requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop & lead the team to meet current and future business needs including New Product Development (NPD), monitor the teams’ performance, provide development plans to enhance the overall value to customers.
Based on interaction with the customers (Strategic Brands and Nike), direct the Design and Innovation Teams in the development of new, inspiring and uplifting design offering to customers.
Identify possible improvements to systems/ processes in the department /other front-end processes, monitor their implementation in order to ensure continuous improvement is made towards streamlining the merchandising process and customer links.
