Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell is looking for a Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to lead our global procurement organization. This executive will be responsible for designing and executing a world class procurement strategy that ensures a secure, resilient, cost competitive, and sustainable supply base across one of the most complex and geopolitically sensitive semiconductor supply chains in the world.

This highly strategic role has a direct impact on gross margins, manufacturing velocity, technology roadmap execution, and long term supply chain resilience.

What You Can Expect

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and lead Marvell’s end‑to‑end global procurement vision and multi‑year strategy.
  • Partner closely with Planning, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit leaders as a key member of the executive leadership team.
  • Optimize multi‑billion‑dollar annual spend while advancing Marvell’s competitive position in advanced semiconductor technologies.

Direct Materials & Foundry Procurement

  • Lead sourcing and partnership management across foundries, OSATs, substrate suppliers, test equipment vendors, and other mission‑critical suppliers.
  • Manage supplier qualification, capacity planning, and long‑term supply agreements for both leading‑edge and mature nodes.

Capital Equipment & Tooling

  • Oversee procurement of advanced semiconductor test capital equipment and major tooling investments.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Operations on supplier strategy, new tool introductions, and cost/performance roadmaps with OEMs.

Supply Chain Risk & Resilience

  • Build and maintain a dual‑sourced, geopolitically resilient global supply network.
  • Lead proactive risk identification, mitigation, and business continuity strategies.

Cost & Value Creation

  • Deliver aggressive annual cost‑reduction goals while maintaining quality and technology leadership.
  • Implement advanced procurement methodologies such as should‑cost modeling, value engineering, and collaborative cost‑down programs.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Champion responsible sourcing, carbon‑reduction initiatives, and circular‑economy practices.
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, export controls, FCPA, and ethical business standards.

Organization & Digital Transformation

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing global procurement and category management team (30+ professionals).
  • Drive digital procurement transformation using AI, predictive analytics, blockchain traceability, and e‑sourcing technologies.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain leadership, including 8–10 years in senior roles.
  • Deep expertise in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven track record managing multi‑billion‑dollar direct materials and capital equipment categories.
  • Experience negotiating long‑term strategic supply agreements with global foundries, OEMs, and material suppliers.
  • Demonstrated success building resilient supply chains in geopolitically complex environments.

Preferred

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Professional procurement certifications (CPSM, CPSD, C.P.M., etc.) are beneficial.
  • Prior experience as a CPO or VP of Procurement/Manufacturing/Technology in semiconductors or advanced manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with global trade compliance, export controls, and tariff‑mitigation strategies.
