About this role
- Ability to work safely at all times
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines
- Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid US driver's license
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs
- Certification from a trade school is preferred
- Previous mining experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
- A CDL and a clean driving record is a plus.

What you'll do
- The Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist is responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment. This role also involves preventative maintenance and the removal and installation of mechanical parts.
