We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS team at MMC Corporate This role will be based in Gurgaon/ Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Principal Engineer - Application Management

• Contribute to customer growth and satisfaction by delivering quality solutions for both internal and external products

• Focuses on continuous improvements to team and processes to achieve highest efficiency and create maximum value.
• Works with Lead Developer, Architect, Platform Owner and Stakeholders to address escalated issue

We will count on you to:

• Collaborates across IT department to develop best practices and streamline processes.
• Perform Activities with respect to the ServiceNow ITOM Environment.
• Collaborate with MMC ServiceNow team members and other MGTI teams to understand the business requirements and take appropriate actions.
• Experience configuring various types of discovery:  CI Discovery, Cloud Discovery, Serverless Discovery AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Nutanix, Storage, Citrix
• Understanding of Configuration Management related activities related to data validation and health.
  Experience configuring discovery patterns and understanding when not to customize a discovery pattern.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience (at least 2 years related experience) as a ServiceNow developer, with a focus on ITSM/ ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping
• In-depth understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including CMDB, Discovery, MID Server, and Service Mapping
• Experience with JavaScript, PowerShell, Regex, Linux and Windows commands, and other related technologies used in networking and infrastructure administration
• Strong knowledge of ITSM /ITOM Discovery patterns and probes, including customization / creation of custom patterns, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, networking protocols, and cloud technologies

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• ServiceNow  ITSM/ITOM certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM Discovery/Service Mapping) are a plus
• Support on any other ServiceNow related responsibilities.
