
Job Description:
Job Purpose
An electrician maintains, calibrates, adjusts, and repairs industrial measuring instruments and electrical troubleshooting. They need to work in a cross-functional team such as process area associates, as shift electrician. They will be responsible for handling all maintenance activities related to electrical/controls and working on measuring and controlling instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
Referring to electrical and control drawings for MCC (Motor control center) / PLC panel troubleshooting.
Calibrating and maintaining control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital) for plant equipment.
Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Variable frequency Drives, etc., in terms of hardware.
Capable of conducting loop checking for Inputs/Outputs and instruments.
Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults.
Maintaining various computer-based control systems.
Troubleshooting SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)/HMI (Human Machine Interface) in terms of hardware and operation.
Removing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing components.
Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards.
Havinga basic electrical knowledge base
Have good knowledge of a metal detector.
