APU Manager
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Electronics, Industrial, Electrical, or similar)
- 5+ years experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT, THT, assembly, test)
- Leadership experience managing shopfloor teams
- Strong knowledge of electronics processes (SMT, ICT/FCT, ESD, IPC standards)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Ability to manage KPIs (SQDC, OEE, scrap, yield)
- Structured problem-solving skills (8D, 5 Why, PDCA)
- Good communication skills in
English (German/French a plus)
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily achievement of
SQDC targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
- Manage SMT, test, and post SMT
flows to meet production demand
- Lead and develop team leaders
and operators on the shopfloor
- Ensure product quality (IPC
standards, ICT, ESD compliance)
- Drive continuous improvement
(Lean, OEE, scrap reduction, yield improvement
- Coordinate with Engineering,
Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics
- Support NPI, ramp-up, and
series production stability
- Monitor KPIs and lead root
cause analysis and corrective actions
