About this role
Your goal
As a Working Student AI & Data, you will support the team in analysing historical M&A deals and further developing internal AI and data systems. The primary focus is on data processing and analysis, working with complex deal documentation in a professional M&A environment.
You will combine data analysis, AI and business insight and directly contribute to improving data quality, insights and tooling within Marktlink.
Your responsibilities
As a Working Student within our Data and AI team, your tasks will include:
- Extracting and structuring data from Information Memoranda (IMs) and other deal documentation
- Collecting, cleaning and enriching historical M&A deal data
- Analysing key variables that influence deal multiples
- Identifying and analysing patterns and trends across sectors and deal types
- Collecting, structuring and prioritising feedback on internally developed AI and data systems
- Translating user feedback into concrete functional and technical requirements
- Supporting the evaluation and further development of AI models and data systems
- Performing data quality checks (completenes, consistency, timeliness)
Your profile
We are looking for a working student who:
- Is currently enrolled in a HBO or WO bachelor’s programme
- Has an interest in data, AI and analytics
- Works accurately and in a structured manner
- Interest in finance or M&A is a plus
- Is fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
- Is available 2 days per week
- Is willing to work on-site in Amsterdam
