About this role

Description

Markon is seeking a dynamic Technical Cybersecurity Project Manager with proven ability to lead full lifecycle projects from initial development through deployment and certification to support a cutting edge program with our Virginia Customer and is located in the Northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex technical systems, driving stakeholder engagement, and gathering detailed requirements to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Navigate certification and approval processes while maintaining strict compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous technical training to stay ahead of evolving technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (preferrably from this client).
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end planning, execution, and management of complex or multi-faceted technical development activities, with a focus on cybersecurity and field operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical capabilities and commercial technologies, ensuring effective integration and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to conceptualize and implement innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable strategies, delivering secure and efficient outcomes.
  • Willing to travel to meet with vendors and teaming partners (10-20%)

Desired:

  • Proven experience managing field projects and delivering exceptional customer-focused solutions.
  • Five or more years of project management and leadership experience, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • CISSP, CISA, or related cyber security certification

Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
