About this role

Description

Markon is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a proven track record in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex software applications for our Virginia Customer in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions that enhance system performance and support distributed processing capabilities.
  • Develop innovative software solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Thrives in team-oriented environments and excels at supporting and optimizing production systems for maximum reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (preferrably from this client).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development. 
  • Proven expertise in developing applications using Node.js, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions. 
  • Hands-on experience in backend development, including designing and implementing robust APIs. 
  • Practical experience deploying applications in cloud-based environments, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, and containerization/orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

Desired:

  • Understanding of internet protocols and networking technologies used by ISPs, including MPLS and Ethernet VLANs.
  • Understanding of JavaScript Framesworks, i.e. Vue, Angular, React.

Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
