Description

Markon is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Information Assurance Specialist to support a large Intelligence Community customer. This role provides senior-level expertise in information assurance, cybersecurity, and system integration to inform high-impact decisions shaping the future of IT systems across the IC. This person will advise leadership, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure security requirements align with mission and enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities

• Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues.
• Turn cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions.
• Develop and maintaining a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans;
• Analyze cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies and influence the trajectory of ICAM in the IC.
• Develop and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
• Conduct critical path analysis, risk analysis, and task dependency analysis;
• Develop security requirements and constraints to provide input to foundational technical documents, including program architectural artifacts, business cases, and concept of operations.
• Document architectural rules for ICAM.
• Diagram an interim and future architecture for ICAM implementation.
• Define/communicate the ICAM integration expectations for all ITE services.
• Create/maintain an ICAM playbook.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• An active TS/SCI with a CI poly (preferrably from this client).
• Require BS degree and 12 – 15+ years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level.
• Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
• Secure cloud architecture expertise
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
• Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
• Expert knowledge in Identity, Authentication and Authorization.
• Experience partnering across the IC

Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
