Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the Fort Meade Customer. This role requires a strong background in data science and MLOps to support the development, testing, deployment, and evaluation of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and evaluate data science and machine learning models.
• Design and implement MLOps pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Support test and evaluation of analytics and ML capabilities to assess performance, accuracy, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and testers to integrate ML solutions into mission systems.
• Develop metrics, reports, and documentation to support analytic assessment and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and ML workflows across development and operational environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in data science, including statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Significant experience with MLOps, including automation, deployment, and lifecycle management of ML models.
• Experience supporting test and evaluation or operational mission environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Salary Range

USD $210,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
