About this role

Description

Markon is seeking an experienced Cyber Operations SME to support our Virginia Customer in the Northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cyber-related project planning and execution, managing cross-functional teams to deliver secure, mission-aligned solutions.
  • Oversee multiple priorities, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with strategic objectives and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, maintain awareness of evolving threats, and support mission-critical operations with discretion and expertise.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (preferrably from this client).
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement, translating business requirements into technical solutions and actionable deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end planning, execution, and management of complex or multi-faceted technical, cyber, and field operations.
  • Strong understanding of network techologies, protocols, system, and equipment related to telecom and data transport, switching technologies, data center network engineering, network architect and/or cellular network engineering, and radio network engineering.
  • Knowledge of any of the following: PSTN, Data Networks, VOIP, fiber optic cables/installation and maintenance, RF related technologies, GPON.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effective in both independent and collaborative environments.

Desired:

  • Former customer staffer with in-house customer certifications and/or instructor experiences. 
  • Knowledge of telecommunications technical and business practices.

Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
