Description

Markon is seeking a Business Process Consultant with expert-level data science and analytics skills to support mission-critical efforts through actionable insights and performance-driven metrics. This role focuses on managing and analyzing cybersecurity-related data, developing databases and analytic products, and delivering clear, executive-ready reporting to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert-level analytics and data science techniques to cybersecurity-related datasets to identify trends, gaps, and mission insights.
• Manage and/or develop databases to support reliable data storage, retrieval, and analytic workflows.
• Use analytic tools and methodologies to generate metrics, conclusions, and measurable outcomes aligned to mission and organizational priorities.
• Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and leadership briefings to communicate findings to senior leaders and management teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand operational objectives and translate needs into data-driven approaches and solutions.
• Ensure analytic products are accurate, repeatable, and suitable for operational and executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• 8+ years of relevant experience supporting data analytics, data science, or performance/mission analysis efforts.
• Expert-level ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets, ideally within cybersecurity mission environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing metrics and translating analytics into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce executive-ready briefings and written products.

Preferred:

• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources to produce operational or strategic insights
• Experience creating repeatable analytic processes and improving data quality and usability
• Familiarity with tools used for reporting, visualization, or dashboarding (as applicable to customer environment)

Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $205,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
