Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Global Sales Director – Social to drive revenue growth, expand our global footprint, and lead Social Element’s sales organization in selling high-value social media and digital engagement solutions to major brands, agencies, and prospective clients worldwide.

Social Element is a global social media owned by MarketFully Group.  Social Element operates across both the US and Europe and manages social media marketing primarily related to building social community for global brands with social media marketing, engagement, and moderation solutions.

As the Global Sales Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the global sales strategy, cultivating strong executive-level relationships, and leading a high-performing global sales team. You will serve as a key driver of revenue and a vocal ambassador for Social Element’s unique approach to social media strategy and community-centric engagement.  This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and also work with the Head of Sales at MarketFully to support cross-sales of other MarketFully solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the global sales strategy aligned to revenue and growth objectives for Social Element.
  • Own global pipeline management, forecasting, and achievement of revenue targets for Social Element.
  • Drive new business development, leading complex, multi-market sales cycles from prospecting through close.
  • Learn MarketFully Solutions to eventually integrate Social Element GTM into broader MarketFully portfolio sales.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, delivery, product, and leadership to support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent Social Element at industry events, client meetings, and thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM, sales processes, and reporting to support scalable growth.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven record of closing complex, high-value deals in digital, media, marketing services, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global sales teams and operating in cross-cultural, international environments.
  • Deep understanding of social media, digital engagement trends, and agency models.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven with expertise in forecasting, CRM tools, KPI measurement, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required to meet clients and lead key strategic initiatives.
Preferred Skills
  • Existing network with global brand decision-makers and agency partners.
  • Experience selling consultative services, integrated campaigns, and multi-service offerings.
  • Comfort presenting at industry events, webinars, and client roundtables.
  • Experience working with remote and matrixed teams.
