This role focuses on building robust data engineering solutions, implementing Master Data Management and Golden Source strategies, tracking data lineage, and enabling efficient data wrangling and analysis. You’ll work with modern technologies, collaborate across teams, and gain deep exposure to the Fixed Income domain—even if you’re new to it. Intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a “can-do” attitude will be key to success.</p> <p><strong>How You'll Help Take Us There</strong></p> <p><strong>Data Engineering &amp; Integration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and distribution using Python, SQL, and Java.</li> <li>Build and expose REST APIs for data services; implement asynchronous programming and concurrency for high-performance systems.</li> <li>Work with streaming technologies like Kafka and JMS for real-time data delivery.</li> <li>Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, Polars, and NumPy for data wrangling and analysis.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reference Data Modernization:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to building Master Data Management and Golden Source solutions.</li> <li>Support data lineage tracking and ensure data integrity across systems.</li> <li>Work with database concepts such as data warehouses and data lakes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cloud &amp; Big Data Infrastructure:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and maintain AWS-based data products (e.g., S3, ECS/EKS, Athena, Glue, Aurora) with a focus on containerized and serverless technologies.</li> <li>Optimize data storage (partitioning, bucketing) for performance and cost efficiency.</li> <li>Ensure data security and best practices (IAM, encryption, monitoring).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Software Engineering &amp; CI/CD:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement automated build/test/deploy pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).</li> <li>Enforce coding standards: modular design, documentation, peer reviews, and automated testing (unit/integration).</li> <li>Instrument pipelines with monitoring and alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Innovation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with Development, Product, and Infrastructure teams.</li> <li>Use AI tools effectively (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and improve productivity.</li> <li>Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn the Fixed Income data domain.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking for&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of software engineering experience.</li> <li>Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Java; familiarity with Spring Boot and object-oriented design principles.</li> <li>Experience building REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and concurrency.</li> <li>Exposure to streaming platforms (Kafka, JMS) and cloud environments (AWS preferred).</li> <li>Familiarity with Python data libraries (Pandas, Polars, NumPy) for data wrangling and analysis.</li> <li>Understanding of database concepts (data warehouse, data lake) and data lineage.</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD tools and practices; Unix and scripting highly beneficial.</li> <li>Ability to use AI tools effectively in development workflows.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.</li> <li>Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn the Fixed Income domain.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Can Expect from Us</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hybrid Environment: Our employees enjoy a mix of working in the office and from home</li> <li>Free Food: We provide free lunch for employees when they are working in the office. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
