ROLE OVERVIEW

Mariner is seeking a skilled and motivated Power Platform Consultant to join our team in Halifax. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week and offers the opportunity to work on an impactful project with our client. You will leverage the Microsoft Power Platform—Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI—to design, build, and optimize business solutions that drive digital transformation.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE: 

  • Build custom Power Apps tailored to specific business needs
  •  Design and manage workflows using Power Automate
  •  Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for data-driven decision-making
  •  Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into solutions
  •  Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and third-party tools
  •  Provide troubleshooting, support, and end-user training
  •  Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 services and integrating third-party applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the utilities industry is an asset.
  • Certifications such as SAFe®, PMI-DASM™, CSM, or ITIL are considered assets.
