As a Café Runner at The Pfister Hotel, you will ensure timely delivery of food orders, maintain communication between servers and the kitchen, and provide support in creating a seamless dining experience. You will play a key role in upholding service standards and guest satisfaction in our vibrant café.

What You’ll Be Doing:

·         Set up garnishes for dishes and prepare trays for service.

·         Stock dishware, silverware, and linens as needed.

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

·         Reset trays promptly and efficiently throughout service.

·         Assist with setting up and breaking down station at beginning and end of shift.

·         Deliver food orders accurately and in a timely manner to guests.

·         Maintain ticket times and ensure prompt delivery consistent with quoted times.

·         Ensure proper plate presentation standards are met before delivery.

·         Assist with guest requests to ensure satisfaction.

·         Communicate effectively between servers and kitchen associates.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

·         Knowledge of tray setups and service ware.

·         Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stay on your feet for extended periods.

·         Ability to understand verbal English for guest requests and written English for safety notices.

·         Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs.

·         No prior experience required; hospitality experience preferred.

·         Ability to learn menu items and garnishes.

·         Ability to multi-task and stay composed during peak hours.

·         Ability to self-motivate during slower periods.

·         Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.

Pay Rate: $15.32 per hour
