JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with ensuring the efficient operation of the culinary aspect of the restaurant, banquets, and activations with a focus on delivering unmatched moments for our guests

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Running daily service, organizing prep work, managing      workflow, coordinating with front-of-house curators, and maintaining      equipment.
  • Supervising, and conflict resolution for cooks and      dishwashers.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure curator compliance of      all hotel standards and policies.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment and      ensuring sanitation standards are met. 
  • Ensure an appropriate inventory of supplies needed for      curators to effectively do their job.
  • Ensuing food quality standards are being met by      monitoring food preparation, ensuring recipe adherence, and presentation      continuity.
  • Addressing food-related complaints and ensuring customer      satisfaction.

· Maintaining food cost by managing inventory, monitoring portion size and minimizing waste.

  • Assisting with menu      planning, recipe testing, and standardizing new dishes.
  • Fostering a productive      environment and coordinating with other departments.

· Comply with attendance rules and be available for work on a regular basis.

· Perform any job-related duties as assigned.

MINNIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer      skills.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • At least 2 years high-volume cooking experience 
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills involved      in culinary training.
  • Knowledge of the Back of House operations 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs frequently
