Summary
The Risk Control and Premium audit consultant role combines strategic vision to shape the Commercial Lines Risk Services programs, strengthen vendor partnerships and deliver innovative solutions. This includes developing and executing strategies to minimize losses, enhance underwriting decisions and support profitable growth. This position is responsible for the vendor relationships including selection, the delivery of services to our customers, vendor performance including training when necessary, and the development of automation.
Responsibilities
Internal
Vendor management - Manage the vendor relationships from vetting to monitoring quality turnaround time and customer service
Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with underwriting team to modify inspection and premium audit guidelines based on relevant data, provide technical support as needed
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies and innovative products
Collaborate with Corporate Communications team as needed
Assist services staff assigned to the premium audit and risk control functions
Develop SOP’s as needed

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $77,700 - $96,100
