  • Support annual tax reporting by reconciling tax data and collaborating with custodians to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform miscellaneous operational tasks, including corporate actions, book value adjustments, performance calculations, and ad hoc reporting.

Issue Resolution, Triage & Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as operational triage: receive issues, determine the appropriate area to assist, and coordinate resolution across teams.
  • Execute ad hoc issues swiftly and accurately, using sound judgment and operational expertise.
  • Ingest complex or ambiguous information, assess impacts, and determine the most effective path to resolution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for non‑standard, complex, or escalated operational scenarios.
  • Provide supervisory support including workflow oversight, quality checks, and mentorship of junior team members.

Investment Counsellor (IC) Support

  • Partner closely with ICs to resolve operational questions, client account issues, transaction inquiries, and data requests.
  • Support ICs through timely information delivery, escalation management, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Provide clarity on processes and best practices to enhance client service and IC efficiency.

Vendor & Custodian Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and custodians.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, contribute to issue resolution, and support ongoing service-level enhancements.
  • Represent ICS operations in discussions related to system changes, data quality, and integration improvements.

System Enhancement & Project Work

  • Participate in system testing, vendor discussions, and broader operational initiatives.
  • Support transition periods including end‑of‑month reporting and quarterly operational changes by contributing operational expertise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, enhance automation, and elevate service quality.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in investment operations, private wealth management, custody operations, or asset management
