About this role

The Business Manager will play a critical role in supporting transition efforts for new work migrating from onshore to the shared services organization, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. Acting as the primary liaison between local partner groups and onshore counterparts, this role requires deep process knowledge to enable accurate and efficient knowledge transfer. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Transition Management, PeopleComms, and Talent Acquisition—to align transition activities with organizational objectives and workforce strategies. Additionally, this role will drive strategic initiatives within the risk function, oversee key business programs, and champion continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions and best practices. Serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader, the Business Manager will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Transition Management Group on transition efforts for new work migrating from onshore to the shared services organization, ensuring seamless integration.

  • Serve as the functional domain resource and primary point of contact between local partner groups and onshore counterparts, ensuring a deep understanding of the detailed processes, requirements, and nuances of the work being transitioned to enable accurate and efficient knowledge transfer

  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to develop and / or update transition solutions for highly complex or difficult profiles, leveraging expertise in risk management and market intelligence to craft innovative approaches

  • Collaborate with the overall Risk Lead, Transition Management Group, PeopleComms, Talent Acquisition, and other partner groups to align transition activities with organizational objectives and workforce strategies.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration on other strategic initiatives of the risk function, ensuring alignment with organization objectives and directions

  • Oversee key business programs and initiatives that support service delivery and efficient execution of business processes.

  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing best practices.

  • Serve as trusted advisor and thought leader, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across the organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, International Business or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

  • Risk and Compliance Expertise – 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in business management, strategic planning, operations and transformation with a strong focus on audit, compliance, and risk. Ability to identify and manage risks, understand global regulatory frameworks, and ensure compliance in shared services.

  • Project Leadership – 3 to 5 years of experience leading complex, high-impact projects and initiatives, delivering results on time and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Stakeholder/Partnership Management – building relations, driving alignment, collaboration and buy-in from global stakeholders and partners with differing objectives and expectations that requires strong negotiation and influence skills.

  • Data-Driven Decision-making - Skilled in using data insights to guide planning and improve business outcomes.

  • Financial Acumen - Strong grasp of budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
