About this role

The Process Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day processes, including delivery, and continuous improvement of end-to-end processes that consistently demonstrate value to Finance, Accounting and Talent Operation’s internal and external customers for ManpowerGroup brands. The position will focus on overseeing teams to meet desired SLAs and KPIs which will optimize performance for the overall organization. Process improvement responsibilities stem from analysis, development, implementation planning, change management, and identifying training requirements.

Processes owned by Process Specialist
•    Oversite of the day-to-day Payroll processing activities can include (but not limited to): 
    o    Timeslip processing; including compliant time evaluation 
    o    Wage Deductions 
    o    Management of “other pay” such as bonuses, unbillables, meal penalties, interview pay, orientation pay, etc.
    o    Wage Statement & Check creation; including printing / distribution
    o    Payroll/Billing Adjustments and related processes
    o    Child Support and Garnishment activities
    o    JDE Bank Maintenance US & Canada 
    o    JDE/PS Garnishment Vendor Modifications (Add/Delete)
    o    All aspects of Unclaimed property including reporting to states, and recouping outstanding funds from states for all LOBs
    o    Cash & Banking activities, including working with Finance to reconcile accounts for all LOBs
    o    System & Business testing as needed
•    Assist with expertise in payroll requirements, payroll processes, and payroll concepts that enable to effective implementation of new clients and effective processing for existing clients
•    Assist with all aspects of federal, state, and local statutory compliance requirements for all lines of business (Associate payroll, Consultant payroll, Staff payroll)
•    Assist with system support for our payroll processing systems (i.e. JDE, Peoplesoft, Bullhorn Time & Expense, CICPlus, EDS, Courts/Agencies, Banks, etc.)   
•    Maintain effective working relationships with IT development teams to assist with configuration, development, maintenance, and related controls necessary for effective and compliant system activities  
•    Contribute to development and implementation of payroll related policies, procedures, and programs

Making an Impact    
•    Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and third-party vendors, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and change management. 
•    Contribute to evaluation of potential technology solutions including in-house developed tools and outside vendor tools if warranted. 
•    Oversee daily activities and audit Vendor activities to ensure compliance
•    Adopt a solutions mindset in collaboration with all internal teams to resolve issues. Provide suggestions for process improvement and share best practices with colleagues and peers. 
•    Stay current on World of Work trends and establish oneself as workforce expert, sought out by for advice and best practices. 
•    Partner and work closely with fellow Process Specialists to ensure standardization of effective solutions and resolve repetitive issues.
•    Act as primary point of contact / escalation toward issue resolution and provide high level of service representative of ManpowerGroup brand.    
•    Collaborate with third-party vendor leadership to drive digital innovations and increased production efficiencies.  Work with Sr Process Owners to monitor SOW governance, and contribute to change requests.

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details    
•    Support processes of third-party vendor relationship. 
•    Monitor process performance via SLA’s, KPIs. 
•    Manage onshore activities as assigned.

 



Required
•    Experience in an operational role supporting processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Nice to Have
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•    Prior experience with process improvement/optimization
•    Experience working with off-shore suppliers and/or vendors 
•    Lean / Six Sigma experience
