Role Summary

This is an ONSITE position based at our location in Gastonia, NC. 

 

  • No Visa sponsorships are available for this position. 

 

The HD Fleet Project Manager is responsible for managing strategic projects that support heavy-duty fleet sales initiatives and product development programs. This role ensures alignment between business development objectives and product lifecycle execution, driving cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, marketing, operations, and supply chain. The Project Manager will leverage technical expertise, Lean methodologies, and best practices to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget while optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for fleet customers.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the heavy-duty initiative as the internal project manager for the consulting project
  • Act as internal project champion for strategy and go-to-market execution
  • Push HD initiative through the organization by explaining and driving adoption
  • Facilitate collaboration across product, business development, sales teams, engineering, and logistics
  • Monitor project milestones and report progress to leadership
  • Define how to serve customers and nurture relationships within the organization (deriving go-to-market approach)
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with fleet operator behaviors and TCO insights
  • Define and optimize sales channels (direct vs. indirect) and integrate digital platforms
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans for HD fleet initiatives (sales and product)
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between sales, product management, engineering, and supply chain teams
  • Apply methodologies for risk mitigation and process improvement
  • Monitor and report on project KPIs including timelines, cost targets, and revenue impact
  • Support direct-to-fleet distribution model implementation and TCO optimization strategies
  • Ensure effective communication of HD product range and WIX brand positioning in the market
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events and ensure technical alignment with customer needs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project workflows and deliverables 

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing

Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in project management with exposure to sales strategy and product management
• Experience in the filtration industry and direct-to-fleet markets (Class 6/7/8 trucks - Construction, Agriculture, Mining and Hydraulics)

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of TCO analysis, supply chain optimization, and technical sales
• Proficiency with project management tools and digital platforms
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and problem-solving skills

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

• PMP certification

• Experience in agriculture, construction, and mining filtration businesses

• Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives and integrate technology solutions
