What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for Implementation and maintenance of students’ accommodation plans, for providing instructions to special education students, and for the TABE testing administration, in compliance with government and management directives. 

Essential Functions: 

  1. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to identify accommodation needed. 
  2. Set up and maintain accommodations files. Monitor, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of accommodations.
  3. Review and accommodate plans every 60 days at student evaluation panels (SEPS)
  4. Develop and implement a tracking system to monitor student performance and monthly progress.
  5. Conduct orientation of new students concerning testing procedures. 
  6. Administer all academic program tests, including entry and program exit tests; interpret test results and enter testing data into the computer system. 
  7. Arrange for testing facilities; provide the students with necessary testing materials.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Associate’s degree and one year’s related experience. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. 
  • Experience developing individual accommodation plans for clients with mental health, physical, and learning disability. 
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
