What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for providing daily management and oversight of all health and wellness center activities and health and wellness staff including subcontracted providers. You’ll be also responsible for all administrative requirements and assuring compliance with the Department of Labor (DOL).
Essential functions:
- Manage and conduct coordinated health care for students and implementation of other health related programs, including medical, oral health, mental health, and substance abuse services. Assure chronic care management of all students with chronic illnesses.
- Provides and monitors basic health care services, emergency care services, and case management of students.
- Monitors and approves transfers, separations, and referrals.
- Works productively with all levels of management to develop, implement, and monitor schedules for facility repair and general and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare and submit required reports within the required timeframe.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of employment.
- Three (3) years related experience with one (1) or more years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
