What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for assuring all roads and grounds equipment is kept operational and assigned areas are maintained in a neat and clean condition in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
- Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
- Mow, trim and edge all grass areas, water grass & flower bed areas, and use insecticides & herbicides as appropriate.
- Perform general cleanup of grounds to include debris, tree limbs, etc.
- Operate all ground equipment and machinery including front end loaders, tractors, lawnmowers, edgers and snow removal equipment.
- Install and repair sprinklers and associated lawn watering equipment.
- Order materials to perform work, prepare paperwork to reflect cost, use materials and other data for accounting purposes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years related craft experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
