Pay: $23.39 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 8-hour shifts

Essential Duties:

  1. Create, manage, and implement all religious programs of the facility.
  2. Serve as the point of contact for all outside religious activities, persons or groups requesting admittance to the facility.
  3. Frequently interact with inmates during their daily activities to provide moral and religious instruction.
  4. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
  5. Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
  • Two (2) years religious or related experience required.
  • Current ecclesiastical endorsement by denomination or ordination, completion of clinical pastoral education provided by denominational or interdenominational training organizations.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
  • Must successfully complete all annual in-service requirements.
