Essential Duties:
- Create, manage, and implement all religious programs of the facility.
- Serve as the point of contact for all outside religious activities, persons or groups requesting admittance to the facility.
- Frequently interact with inmates during their daily activities to provide moral and religious instruction.
- Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
- Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
- Two (2) years religious or related experience required.
- Current ecclesiastical endorsement by denomination or ordination, completion of clinical pastoral education provided by denominational or interdenominational training organizations.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
- Must successfully complete all annual in-service requirements.
