A Senior Manager of Tech Talent Acquisition and Management leads the strategy and execution of a company's technology hiring efforts. They are a high-level leader responsible for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top-tier technical professionals in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
•Strategic Tech Talent Acquisition
•Develop and execute a forward-looking talent acquisition strategy aligned with CP Axtra Tech Hub’s mission
•Anticipate future talent needs in specialized, cutting-edge domains (e.g., AI, data science, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, retail tech solutions) and build a robust pipeline.
•Position the Tech Hub as a strategic talent magnet across China and the broader region.
•Acquisition & Employer Branding Team Management
•Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and sourcers, setting performance standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
•Provide coaching, career development, and continuous upskilling to ensure the team can meet highly specialized hiring needs.
•Acquisition Process & Operations
•Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring operational efficiency and an outstanding candidate experience.
•Introduce and leverage digital tools (e.g., AI-driven sourcing, advanced ATS, digital assessment centers) tailored for niche technical hiring.
•Employer Branding
•Promote CP Axtra Tech Hub as an employer of choice for world-class technologists in China and beyond.
•Represent the company at top-tier recruitment events, university partnerships, and tech forums, while showcasing the hub’s innovation-driven culture.
•Data & Metrics
•Apply data-driven insights to track and optimize recruitment performance (e.g., time-to-fill for specialized roles, talent market mapping).
•Regularly report insights to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with the Tech Hub’s strategic priorities.
•Stakeholder Partnership
•Partner with senior business leaders, R&D heads, and hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure talent strategies align with innovation goals.
•Advise stakeholders on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices in China’s technology market.
Qualifications & Experience
•Experience
•8+ years in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role focused on technology hiring within China or APAC.
•Proven success in building recruitment strategies for specialized technical roles in R&D and innovation-driven environments.
•Skills
•Leadership & People Management: Track record of building and leading high-performing recruitment teams.
•Strategic Thinking: Ability to align hiring strategy with CP Axtra Tech Hub’s mandate to integrate innovation and business needs.
•Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of advanced technical roles (e.g., AI researchers, data engineers, cybersecurity specialists, retail tech product developers).
•Data-Driven Decision-Making: Skilled in applying recruitment metrics and talent analytics.
•Communication & Influence: Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and engage with world-class candidates.
•China Market Knowledge: Familiarity with China’s competitive talent landscape, talent mobility trends, and regulatory considerations.
