Job Summary: 

 

The qualified candidate will work in the warehouse area of the production line to prepare finished product for shipment. This process will include operating a variety of equipment, including a fork lift, in addition to completing paperwork for documentation purposes.   

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Drive and operate a fork lift
  • Identify and select the proper code
  • Proper filling out and placement of pallet tags
  • Follow case orders and place on the line for packing
  • Check case codes of cookies
  • Recheck count and remark at end of order
  • Operate and troubleshoot tape machine
  • Operate stretch wrap machine
  • Operate dock lock for truck loading purposes
  • Properly fill out trailer load sheet paperwork and waste tote data sheets
  • Maintain proper levels of inventories for the line
  • Provide coverage for warehouse position during breaks
  • Follow AIB’s “Good Quality Standards” and “GMPs”
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

 

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Willingness to except odd job assignments when production lines are not operating
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand or walk up to 90% of the time scheduled
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule
  • Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures

 

Job Qualifications:

 

18 years of age

Experience operating fork lift preferred, but not required

Starting Pay: Finished Good Loader I $20.20/ hr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.  Base pay information is based on market location.
