ROLE SUMMARY

The Statutory & Tax Associate Manager leads a small team in the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements for different companies/Countries, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial statements and taxes for multiple countries.

ROLE PROFILE

• Lead and manage a team responsible for preparing statutory financial statements and Tax requirements for multiple countries.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax, and legal teams, to gather relevant data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the completion of statutory audits and resolve any audit queries or issues.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors remotely from the shared service center, ensuring effective communication and timely provision of requested information.
• Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
• Support the tax team in the preparation of tax filings and respond to tax audit requests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience 6-7 years as an external auditor within the Big 4 audit firms.
• A professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local statutory requirements in relevant countries.
• Experience in managing the relationship with external auditors and facilitating remote audits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
