Join the team behind the nation’s most iconic photobooths. At Majestic Photobooth, we bring people together and amplify brands, venues, and events through unforgettable photo experiences. From luxury brand activations to long-term venue installations across the country, we fuse technology, design, and nostalgia to create moments worth remembering.
As we scale from 150+ photobooth placements toward our goal of 1,000 nationwide, we’re investing heavily in the systems and infrastructure that power our operations behind the scenes.
We’re looking for a DevOps & Internal Systems Engineer (Infrastructure & Observability) to support the reliability, scalability, and visibility of Majestic’s distributed photobooth fleet and internal technology systems.
This role sits at the core of our operational backbone—owning infrastructure automation, observability tooling, fleet onboarding/offboarding, and internal IT support. You’ll help ensure our 180+ deployed photobooths (and growing) operate smoothly while contributing to the development of our next-generation Linux-based booth platform.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging deep, solving root problems, and building systems that scale. You’ll embody our values of Find the Root, Own It, and Better Every Day as you help power Majestic’s next phase of growth.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for deploying and configuring Windows-based photobooth clients, including printers, monitoring agents, and application updates
Manage automated onboarding and offboarding of photobooths using Jenkins pipelines
Maintain bastion server infrastructure for secure SSH access to 180+ remote booths
Contribute to building and maintaining Linux system images for next-generation photobooths
Troubleshoot deployment failures, configuration drift, and system inconsistencies across the fleet
Document infrastructure changes and maintain version control and standards for automation code
Maintain and enhance the PLG stack (Promtail, Loki, Grafana) for centralized log aggregation
Configure and manage Prometheus for metrics collection, including custom exporters for printers and application processes
Build and maintain Grafana dashboards combining metrics, logs, and external data sources for full system visibility
Respond to alerts, investigate anomalies, and support root-cause analysis across the fleet
Develop custom metrics exporters using Grok patterns, PowerShell, and other scripting tools
Provide Windows laptop support for internal staff using remote troubleshooting tools
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for employees
Assist with endpoint management, device security, and policy administration
Support onboarding and offboarding of employee devices, accounts, and permissions
Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated deployments and releases
Manage Google Cloud resources including Compute Engine, networking, and storage
Support a lightweight GKE cluster running internal services as needed
Participate in the on-call rotation for infrastructure incidents
Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases
Support special projects involving observability improvements, infrastructure redesigns, and automation enhancements
You might be a great fit if…
You enjoy working across infrastructure, automation, and internal systems—not just one lane
You’re curious, resourceful, and motivated to learn new technologies
You like solving problems at the system level, not just applying quick fixes
You’re comfortable balancing proactive project work with reactive operational needs
You take pride in ownership and follow-through
You believe great infrastructure should be reliable, observable, and continuously improving
1–3 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-related roles
Strong Linux command-line proficiency and understanding of system services, networking, and filesystems
Exposure to infrastructure automation tools (Ansible preferred)
Basic familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki a plus)
Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Understanding of Docker and container fundamentals
Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and version control
Familiarity with SSH, secure remote access, and networking concepts
2+ years of Linux systems administration experience
Experience with Windows administration
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools
Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
Certifications such as Linux+, RHCSA, LFCS, or equivalent
