Job Summary:

As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.

Job Description:

Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatrician to join their collegial team, meeting patients' medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care.

Join a team seven of physicians at Kennebec Pediatrics along with a full complement of excellent nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care from infancy to young adulthood.

Highlights of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • a schedule consisting of 32 clinical hours and the benefit of 8 hours of dedicated, administrative time each week.

  • no evening clinic hours.

  • no inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department or newborn nursery coverage.

  • after-hours on call service that begins at 4:50pm - 7:45am on weekdays and weekend call service from 2:00pm - 9:00pm.

  • teaching opportunities for third year medical students from the University of New England.

  • an opportunity to work as a per diem pediatric hospitalist if desired, although not required.
