Job Description:

Welcomes and assists patients in person and by phone, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Completes registration tasks and provides clerical support to clinical departments as needed.

Schedules patient appointments using computerized scheduling systems while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Verifies insurance coverage/benefits and obtains precertification or authorization when required. Collects co-pays and deductibles or refers patients to financial counseling for follow-up as appropriate.

Accurately enters and updates demographic, billing, and clinical information in the registration system in a timely manner to support seamless care delivery and effective communication across departments.
