About this role

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of clinical leadership provides therapeutic interventions to residents/patients and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment. Supports organizational staffing needs and requirements across various locations.

Job Description:

Assists with ensuring the safety of the residents/patients, while helping to meet their emotional, physical, recreational, and mental health needs.

Communicates in a therapeutic manner, uses de-escalation techniques, provides crisis intervention skills and contributes to individual treatment plans.

Encourages and observes residents/patients in performing activities of daily living.

Observes and documents resident/patient behaviors and activities. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to clinical staff.

Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.
