  • Make an Impact! Your care makes the difference for our patients! Our Physician Assistants can work in the Outpatient setting alongside of the attending physician providing excellent patient care. They are a strong patient advocate within the medical system and will help write orders for testing and therapy, while working with multidisciplinary teams. The Physician Assistant will also provide education to the patient and family on discharge instructions, medications, and addressing any concerns, while making sure the patient is transition to the appropriate level of care. Documentation is completed in EPIC to ensure patients plan and progress.

Position: Physician Assistant - Inpatient / Outpatient
Shift: Full time - 40 hours a week - Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays!

Experience: 
1. Two (2) years’ experience as physician assistant or Board eligible graduate preferred. 
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.


Education: 
1. Bachelor of Science degree or more in a physical science required. 
2. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program.


Licensures/Certifications: 
1. Must be certified or new graduate who is eligible for certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants). Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure's certification required. 
2. ACLS certification preferred. 
3. May require PALS.
4. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.

This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
