You will leverage scripting and automation to streamline processes, improve reliability, and enhance service delivery, while partnering closely with first and second level support teams to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing systems. This role contributes to project planning and execution, proactive monitoring, incident response, and participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical operations.

Key Position Details

Position: IT Systems Engineer 

Shift: Full-Time, Day Schedule - Salaried

Location: Hybrid (Must be able to travel to Radnor, PA and Berwyn, PA as required and for training). 

This position requires a rotating 24/7 on call requirement. 

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or additional 4 years of relevant experience in conjunction of required experience). 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of system administration experience with Windows Server  (2008-2016 operating systems and endpoint/mobile operation systems (Windows 7 and 10, iOS, OSX, Android)
  • Experience in SSCM Engineering or similar software packing system, ideally with architecture environment maintenance, administration, and OS deployment. 
  • Experience with cloud hosting solutions (i.e. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 Administration, and supporting technologies).
  • Experience with Agile principles, 
    IT Infrastructure design, implementation, and support
  • Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible or Powershell Scripting
  • Experience with electronic messaging and security (Symantec Enterprise Vault, Data Discovery processes, Zix, ProofPoint, Open Text RightFax, Microsoft Exchange)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience administering Active Directory, including Group Policy management and user/machine security
  • Experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms (VMWare, Citrix)
  • Experience in IT security/remediation processes, and discover recovery support through backup systems and data replication (Veritas Netbackup & eVault, VMWare SRM, Veeam Replication, NetApp Data Replication). 
  • Experience with physical servers, storage, and endpoints (Cisco UCS, HP Proliant, NetApp Storage, Data Doman, HP Desktops/laptops, and mobile devices
  • Understanding/experience with remote access technologies (Citrix NetScaler, Cisco AnyConnect, Microsoft Multi-factor Authentication, and VPN)
  • Experience working with outsourced vendors and managing service partners and providers 
  • Ability to collaborate with resources and teams across multiple disciplines  
  • Strong knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VMPLS, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls, etc.)
  • Ability to build and maintain storage solutions (SAN, NAS, BLOB)
  • Ability to maintain and remediate security and address security vulnerabilities (DLP, encryptions, SSL, TLS)
