Position: Infection Preventionist
Shift: Day Shift
** This position is based at Bryn Mawr Hospital 50%25 of the time, with the remaining 50%25 dedicated to system-wide Infection Prevention coverage.
Experience:
1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a healthcare professional is required.
2. Minimum of two years infection prevention and control experience required.
3. Familiarity with basic Windows applications, e-mail, and MS Office Suite products.
Education:
BSN, MT, or other similar bachelor’s degree in a health-care related field, from an accredited program is required.
Licensures/Certifications:
CBIC preferred. Infection Preventionists hired after 2019 must obtain CBIC within 2-3 years of hire date (as determined by the Manager at the time of hire).
Pennsylvania Nurse Licensure as an RN, registered by American Society Clinical Pathologists as a Medical Technologist, registered Pharmacist, or having an advanced degree in a scientifically relevant field (e.g. MPH, MS in Clinical Microbiology, MSN, etc.) preferred.
