As a Logistics Project Manager reporting to the Logistics Leader, you will serve as a key cross-functional coordinator supporting customer service, production planning, and material planning activities. You will act as the primary customer liaison, lead process improvement initiatives, and ensure operational plans are effectively executed. This position requires strong analytical capability, communication skills, and the ability to work both in the office and on the manufacturing floor to support business needs.
This role is responsible to:
- Serve as the main customer liaison, acting as the primary point of contact for customer concerns, escalations, and ongoing communication.
- Review current customer service responsibilities, processes, and systems to evaluate improvement needs or necessary changes.
- Evaluate existing production and material planning processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or required enhancements.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives across planning, materials, and customer service functions.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and operational issues that may impact production flow, material availability, or customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain structured risk and issue logs, documenting root causes and recommended corrective actions.
- Monitor and track progress against production and material planning objectives, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze data trends and performance metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Prepare and deliver operational updates, reports, and dashboards to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, quality, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and operational capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies as well as relevant IATF and ISO‑14001 procedures related to planning and operational processes.
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving lead times, planning accuracy, communication flow, and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, production planning, supply chain, customer service management, or similar roles.
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives or project-based work.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship-management abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive issue resolution.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and continuous improvement methods is preferred.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory, quality, and process compliance requirements (IATF, ISO‑14001).
